The Committee agreed to take item 3 in private.
The Committee took evidence from—
Professor Graeme Roy, Chair, Dr Eleanor Ryan, Commissioner, Claire Murdoch, Head of Fiscal Sustainability and Public Spending and David Stone, Head of Economy and Income Tax, Scottish Fiscal Commission.
The Committee considered and agreed its working practices and its future work programme.
The Committee agreed witness panels for its Pre-budget Scrutiny 2027-28: Affordability and sustainability of Scotland's tax and spending plans.
The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government in relation to a future review of the Fiscal Framework and also to seek an update on the number of live Government strategies currently in place.
The Committee also agreed to invite witnesses to give oral evidence as part of the Legislative Consent Memorandum on the UK Public Office (Accountability) Bill.
