Members of the Committee declared the following interests:

Patricia Gibson declared that she was a teacher and is a member of the General Teaching Council for Scotland;
Angela Ross declared that she is a shareholder and director in an e-learning company;
Katherine Sangster had no relevant interests to declare.
Laura Moodie had no relevant interests to declare.
The Committee chose Katherine Sangster as its Deputy Convener.
The Committee discussed its priorities for Session 7 and agreed to hold a Business Planning Day and to invite the Cabinet Secretary for Education, Culture and Gaelic to give evidence following the announcement of the Programme for Government.
