1. Decision on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take items 4, 5 and 6 in private.


2. Instruments subject to affirmative procedure:

The Committee agreed that no points arose on the following—

Environmental Protection (Single-use Vapes) (Scotland) Regulations 2024 (SSI 2024/Draft)
Tied Pubs (Miscellaneous Amendment) (Scotland) Regulations 2024 (SSI 2024/Draft)




3. Instruments not subject to any parliamentary procedure:

The Committee agreed that no points arose on the following—

Trusts and Succession (Scotland) Act 2024 (Commencement No. 1) Regulations 2024 (SSI 2024/164 (C.14))




4. Land Reform (Scotland) Bill (in private):

The Committee considered the delegated powers provisions in this Bill at Stage 1 and agreed to write to the Scottish Government with questions on the powers. It also agreed to invite a Member of the Scottish Government to give evidence at a future meeting.


5. Circular Economy (Scotland) Bill (in private):

The Committee considered the delegated powers provisions in this Bill after Stage 2 and agreed to report to the Parliament.


6. Quarterly report (in private):

The Committee considered a draft report for the parliamentary quarter from 1 March to 12 May 2024 and agreed to publish the finalised report.
