1. Declaration of interests:

Oliver Mundell MSP confirmed he had no relevant interests to declare.


2. Decision on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take item 5 in private.


3. Scottish Elections (Representation and Reform) Bill:

The Committee took evidence on the Bill at Stage 1 from—

    George Adam, Minister for Parliamentary Business,

    Iain Hockenhull, Elections Bill Team Leader;

    Angus Reid, Elections Policy Officer, Scottish Government;

    Lorraine Walkinshaw, Lawyer
and

    David Maclennan, Lawyer, Scottish Government Legal Directorate.

Jackie Dunbar declared an interest as a local authority councillor with the City of Aberdeen Council until May 2022.
