The Committee agreed to take items 4, 5 and 6 in private.
2 Cross-Party Groups:
The Committee considered applications for recognition from two Cross-Party Groups, and took evidence from—
Mark Ruskell, MSP, Convener of proposed CPG on Nature and Climate and Michael Marra,MSP, Co-Convener of the proposed CPG on Families Supporting Children's Learning, Scottish Parliament .
3 Cross-Party Group - approval:
The Committee agreed to accord recognition to the proposed Cross-Party Groups on Nature and Climate and Families Supporting Children's Learning.
4 Correspondence
The Committee considered correspondence from the Chair of the Conveners Group on the procedures on consent in relation to UK Parliament Bills and agreed to discuss further at a future meeting.
5 Correspondence
The Committee considered correspondence from the Scottish Government relating to the draft strategy and policy statement for the Electoral Commission.
