1. Pre-Budget Scrutiny(In Private):

The Committee further considered and agreed its approach to Pre-Budget Scrutiny.

The Committee agreed its call for views.

2. Declaration of interests:

Elena Whitham will be invited to declare any relevant interests. No such interests were declared.

3. Decisions on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take items 5 and 7 in private.

4. Scottish Commission on Social Security:

The Committee will take evidence from—

Ed Pybus, Chair, and Judith Paterson,Board Member, Scottish Commission on Social Security.

5. Scottish Commission on Social Security: (In Private)

The Committee considered the evidence heard under item 4. The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government regarding the renewal of the VoiceAbility contract.

6. Financial considerations when leaving an abusive relationship(In Private):

The Committee considered a revised draft report. Various changes were agreed to. The Committee agreed to delegate to the Convener responsibility for finalising the report for publication.

7. Temporary and tied visa holders: (In Private)

The Committee considered a briefing received from the Worker Support Centre. The Committee agreed to an informal meeting with workers on temporary and tied visas in the agriculture and social care sectors, alongside Members of the Equalities, Human Rights and Civil Justice Committee.
