The Committee took evidence on the Bill at Stage 1 from—
Gillian Martin, Minister for Energy and the Environment, accompanied by Stewart Forsyth, Animal Health and Welfare Policy Advisor and Andrew Voas, Veterinary Head of Animal Welfare, Scottish Government.
3 Agriculture and Rural Communities (Scotland) Bill: (In Private):
The Committee considered its approach to the scrutiny of the Bill at Stage 1. A draft call for written evidence was agreed to.
4 Wildlife Management and Muirburn (Scotland) Bill (In Private):
The Committee agreed to consider the draft Stage 1 report at a later meeting.
