Clare Haughey, Minister for Children and Young People moved—S6M-06431—That the Education, Children and Young People Committee recommends that the Police Act 1997 (Offences in Schedules 8A and 8B) Amendment (Scotland) Regulations 2022 be approved.

The Committee agreed unanimously.

The Committee considered its work programme and correspondence that it had received.

The Committee agreed to write to all local authorities regarding communications around funded ELC for children whose entry to primary 1 will be deferred.

The Committee also agreed to write to the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills regarding college governance.
