The Committee chose Daniel Johnson as its new Convener.
Stephen Kerr declared an interest as having previously worked as a self-employed consultant for Invicta Public Affairs Limited, a self-employed consultant for the Association of Professional Sales, a self-employed consultant for Results Based Leadership Ltd, and a self-employed independent assessor for the Faculty of Professional and Social Sciences at Middlesex University. He also indicated that he is a fellow of the Institute of Sales Professionals.
The Committee agreed to take item 5 in private at this meeting and to consider its draft Stage 1 report on the Community Wealth Building (Scotland) Bill in private.

The Committee considered the evidence heard earlier in the meeting and agreed to write to the Scottish Government.
