1. Decision on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take item 3 in private.


2. Scottish Elections (Representation and Reform) Bill:

The Committee took evidence on the Bill at Stage 1 from—

Ailsa Henderson, Commissioner and Colin Wilson, Electoral Boundaries Review Manager, Boundaries Scotland;

and then from—

Dame Susan Bruce, Electoral Commissioner for Scotland, Andy O'Neill, Head of the Electoral Commission and Louise Edwards, Director of Regulation and Digital Transformation, Electoral Commission, Scotland .


3. Evidence Session:

The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 2.

The meeting was suspended at 11.30 and resumed at 15.12.


4. Complaint (In Private):

The Committee considered and agreed its approach to consideration of a report from the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body. The Committee agreed to consider the matter in private at future meetings.

Stephen Kerr MSP was not present for this agenda item.
Edward Mountain MSP joined the meeting for this agenda item only and in his capacity as Committee substitute.
