The Deputy First Minister had that prior consent and, therefore, what she told the chamber on Tuesday was perfectly acceptable.I am struck by the fact that the Conservative Party seems to think that this position on the ministerial code is unique to this Government.

Oversight of how these powers are used is a matter for the independent Interception of Communications Commissioner.
