The explanatory note for the bill states quite clearly that the Abolition of Feudal Tenure etc (Scotland) Act 2000 and what will be the Title Conditions (Scotland) Act are likely to be implemented about 18 months after the enactment of the Title Conditions (Scotland) Bill to allow the necessary working arrangements to be put in place. However, the committee may wish to write to the Executive to request more details about the working arrangements that are to be introduced as a result of both acts, and to confirm that it will take 18 months to put the arrangements in place.
