Welcome to the 14th meeting in 2002 of the Public Petitions Committee. We have received apologies from Winnie Ewing. I give a warm welcome to Maureen Macmillan, who is at the committee because of petition PE540 on Gaelic; Murdo Fraser, who is at the committee because of PE531 on alcohol and drug dependency; and Robin Harper, who is at the committee because of a petition on I do not know what—I understand that it is PE541 on landfill sites.
