The current budget to complete both vessels remains £123 million, as was set out in the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and the Economy’s update to Parliament on 23 March 2022. The Deputy First Minister and the Minister for Transport were able to see at first hand the progress made on both vessels during their visit to the shipyard on 2 August this year.
