Treatment of historic debt CAS agrees with the recommendation for a maximum repayment duration followed by debt write-off. This would mirror Statutory Debt Solutions which are time limited.

Under EU regulations, the balance of the payments, or 95 per cent of it, has to be made by June the following year. Claim forms for 2020 will be submitted shortly—they have to be submitted by a set date, which is usually in May—and the payments will start to be made in October.
