If there is a political issue, it is the job of the Parliament—nay, it is the duty of the Parliament—to call ministers to account. I am happy to stand to account before a committee of the Parliament for the actions that I took.
I hope that the current consultation exercise will recognise, understand and take into account the points that have been made in every part of Scotland.
