The Part V Voluntary Issues Review Group, which is chaired by Jackie Baillie, has been examining a number of issues, of which charges is one, related to the possible impact on voluntary organisations of the introduction of criminal record checks under Part V of the Police Act 1997.I expect the group to report by the end of the calendar year on the outcome of its deliberations.
