Supported by: Tom Mason* *S5M-18267 Michelle Ballantyne: Keith and Marie Briggs, Inspirational Family of the Year—That the Parliament congratulates Keith and Marie Briggs, who are from Earlston, on being named Inspirational Family of the Year by the pregnancy research charity, Tommy’s, at its annual awards ceremony in London; understands that Keith and Marie have worked with CHAS to found the project, Joe’s Toes, which funds hand or foot casts of stillborn or neonatal lost babies for bereaved parents; acknowledges that it was founded in memory of their son, Joe, who was stillborn because of twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome; understands that, through other ventures, the couple have raised over £9,000 for charity; thanks Keith and Marie for their hard work in supporting bereaved parents, and wishes them all the best.
