Codes of Practice
Two Codes of Practice are issued under FOISA (by Scottish Ministers) to provide guidance to public authorities on responding to requests for information and associated matters (section 60 Code of Practice) and on records management (section 61 Code of Practice).1Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act. (2002).
The Bill provides for the establishment of a Scottish Pubs Code (the “Code”) to govern the relationship between tenants of tied pubs and the business which owns the pub and leases it to them (“the pub-owning business”).

Introduction
One of the functions of the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee, as set out in the Code of Conduct, is to consider information on whether Cross-Party Groups (CPGs) are complying with the Code of Conduct for MSPs ("the Code").
Under sections 1 and 2 of the 2000 Act the Scottish Ministers are required to produce a Councillors’ Code of Conduct (“the Councillors’ Code”) along with a Model Code of Conduct for members of devolved public bodies (‘the Model Code’).
