However, we have had no direct and representative role within the UK’s negotiation with the EU, despite a written agreement to involve us through meetings of the JMC(EN). Our exclusion from any meaningful influence over the UK negotiating position is unacceptable and I am continuing to press the UK Government to agree a more inclusive approach.
