It also makes equivalent provision for secondary assimilated law from 2024 onwards. “Secondary” retained/assimilated EU law is defined in the Bill to mean any retained EU law that is not contained in UK primary legislation, although provisions of UK primary legislation that were inserted by subordinate legislation are also “secondary” for this purpose.
