*S5M-15276 Angela Constance: Unprecedented Community Effort in Support of Kaiam Livingston Employees—That the Parliament recognises what it sees as the overwhelming acts of kindness and generosity that have been shown by West Lothian residents, individuals, businesses, shops, supermarkets, restaurants and other groups and agencies in rallying to help the stricken Kaiam Livingston employees who were made redundant and left without pay in the days before Christmas 2018; believes that there was a monumental community effort in the setting up of the Kaiam Community Hub, Facebook group and Just Giving page to help; notes that this was run entirely by local volunteers who gave up their valuable time during that busy period to organise teams in shifts round the clock for the collection, distribution and delivery of aid; believes that all involved in the appeal for donations gave an exceptional undertaking, resulting in an incredible response from the good-hearted locals who took part in many activities and fundraising drives to raise food, money, essential household items, gifts, childcare, employment advice and support for workers and their families; commends the coordinated efforts of Skills Development Scotland, PACE, the Bathgate Partnership Centre, West Lothian CAB, Access 2 Employment, the Advice Shop, West Lothian Food Bank...
