Draft CCPu - Industry
In its draft CCPu, the Government sets out a range of policies and proposals they believe will lead to the following two outcomes:

This could mean up to 10 million fewer people exposed to the risks of rising seas
In a world that is warmed by up to 1.5°C, about 14% of the population are exposed to a heat wave every five years. That increases to 37% of the population at 2°C.
A 2022 report by Robert Gordon University's Energy Transition Institute “Making the Switch” looked at the energy sector transition in the north-east of Scotland.
Key milestones are ambitious, but a clear delivery plan on how they will be achieved is still missing and there is no quantification of how policies combine to give the emissions reduction required to meet Scotland’s targets.
