In 2020, Part 2 of the Justice Legislation Amendment (Supporting Victims and Other 17 Matters) Act 2020 amended the Judicial Proceedings Reports Act 1958 to make specific provision about the anonymity of deceased victims of sexual crime to extend beyond their natural life.
