The Single Use Carrier Bags Charge (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2021 [draft] - Consideration by the Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform Committee
The Cabinet Secretary confirmed that the regulations exempting the charge were only intended to be a temporary measure due to the pandemic and that those regulations ceased in October 2020 as a result of the country appearing to be in a better position in relation to the pandemic.

In his article for the Edinburgh Law Review, Dr Tickell, Senior Lecturer in Law at Glasgow Caledonian University and founder of the Campaign for Complainer Anonymity, explores recent experience in the Australian state of Victoria. In 2020, Part 2 of the Justice Legislation Amendment (Supporting Victims and Other 17 Matters) Act 2020 amended the Judicial Proceedings Reports Act 1958 to make specific provision about the anonymity of deceased victims of sexual crime to extend beyond their natural life.
