Section 56 of the Bill creates a duty on Ministers to publish a Code of Practice to govern the accredited bodies, which must be followed and will cover how disclosure information will be handled.

It is essential for Scots law to be a party to any international treaty, in as much as Scots law informs any legal structures from a different perspective. It is a code very different from the Napoleonic code of France and the Roman code used in many other parts of Europe.
