It should also be made clearer that the Parliament does have some resource to support people to engage, be that by paying for travel expenses, supporting caring responsibilities, translating and adapting materials, or providing food. Point of contact for engagement and services The group agreed that the barrier of not knowing where to turn to engage could be solved by having “a point of contact” at Parliament to inform people of opportunities to engage in the issues they care about and to tell people who to contact to solve problems they are facing.
