Perhaps my biggest worry about the Conservative motion is that it might be written in code. On the surface it seems inoffensive enough, but the unspoken policy aim is to take schools out of local authority control and establish a sort of state-subsidised free market in schools.

In addition, SPP could cause confusion with the abbreviation for Scottish planning policy, given that reference to the Scottish planning policy will be made as a material consideration in marine planning matters.

We have a new name and new headed notepaper for the Government. Availability status codes in the health service that had already been abolished were abolished again by the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Wellbeing in May and then abolished yet again a couple of weeks ago.
