The current legislation and updated Code of Practice supporting children's learning recognises that children or young people may require additional support, long or short term, for a variety of reasons including if they have experienced a bereavement, have interrupted learning (for example if their family is subject to regular moves).

To ask the Scottish Government what advice has been given to farmers regarding the prophylactic use of neonicotinoids on oilseed rape. The Code of Practice for Using Plant Protection Products in Scotland is an important source of practical advice for the safe use of pesticides for farmers and all other professional users of pesticides.

We cannot expect them to have kept taxi or dinner receipts. That is not going to happen. It would be unreasonable to demand that women find bank statements from years ago.
With the powers that we do have, we are already making sure that people benefit from the living wage—Scotland has a disproportionately high number of people who are in receipt of the living wage. We are using the powers and the influence that we have to push the improvement forward.
Although the core group is drawn from the wider experience panels and includes individuals who are in receipt of a range of benefits, as well as people of different genders and from different locations, I was a bit surprised before the debate to find that there was a lack of young people or those from ethnic minorities.
