That problem must be resolved, and I think that it must be resolved through the draft energy bill because I fear that Ofgem’s connection and use of system code process may not deliver what is needed.Despite the overall general welcome that it has received, aspects of the draft bill need further consideration.

We were unhappy about being asked to agree to the instrument without sight of the code of conduct. In the end, the motion to approve the instrument was not moved and the instrument was relaid, along with the draft code a short while later.
