Annual report of the Citizen Participation and Public Petitions Committee 2023-24
This was a hybrid meeting of the Committee, with Committee Members and one petitioner in the room, and two of the petitioners participating online. One of the issues raised during the evidence session was making better use of technology to remove some of the barriers for island residents when applying for positions on the boards of public organisations, for example giving the option of participating in interviews online.
