A72 (Repairs) To ask the Scottish Executive what discussions it has had with Scottish Borders Council regarding any application by the council under the Bellwin scheme and any other sources of funding for repairs to the A72. (S1O-6289) I am not aware of any representation from Scottish Borders Council about the funding of repairs to the A72.
The plan is supported by actions from "Towards a Healthier Scotland" and "Our National Health: A plan for action, a plan for change". The health improvement fund also prioritises children's health and diet.
The Executive provides 100 per cent funding for those aftercare services. The response offers no comment other than to give details of how an application can be made for Executive funding provided under section 10 of the Social Work (Scotland) Act 1968.The suggested action is that we agree to write to the petitioners suggesting that they apply for funding for an aftercare programme.

Absolutely not. Many exciting developments are going on. The member will be aware of the developments for schools in Aberdeen and the money that was allocated recently to the Perth and Kinross schools project.
If someone has bought a house next to an existing development and then another development has come along—another factory, say—that person would have had access to the local plan when they bought the house, which would have advised them what the area was designated for.
