I am sure that Ian Rogers and Steven Dillon would agree that that is the one area where a hole in the market has emerged over the past nine or 10 years since the recession. That sector of house builders has disappeared in that time.
That is why I gathered together a range of stakeholders during the Easter recess to ensure that the Government is well sighted on the issues that individual sectors are facing as a consequence of the unwelcome changes in international trading arrangements, which generate a great deal of volatility.
Following discussion, the Bureau agreed to authorise remote voting to take place from that date and noted the draft guidance for Members on the matter.

It has been invaluable to our overall inquiry, which will continue after the summer recess. Thank you for the invitation. That was the last item on our public agenda.
There are outstanding audits—Mark MacPherson can add some detail on that, if it is helpful—which we expect will be completed before the summer recess and we expect any resultant section 22s to be reported publicly by that date.
A consultation process normally takes three months, which would have taken us towards the end of the year—or, at least, after the summer recess. There was an immediacy about moving the bill forwards.
Consideration of the full business case was deferred until the January 2020 Capital Investment Group meeting and the approval letter issued in February 2020. At the date of approval the revised opening date would have been April 2022.
Qualifying Dates
Section 16 of the Bill sets out the date before which abuse must have occurred, in order for a victim/survivor to be eligible for redress.
