There is so much other crucial business that needs to be debated before we head into recess, not least following yesterday morning’s news that Scottish national health service workers intend to strike.
The “relevant period” is defined in paragraph 4(3) of schedule 10A as “the period of 5 years from the date on which the first buyer entered into the qualifying sub-sale.”
I think that that is where the question has come from. I understand that the date of the letter is often triggered by the release date, so that should be considered in the victim notification scheme review.
We now expect only a small number of frameworks to be completed by the end of the year, which was the original planned completion date. None of the frameworks that relate to the notifications that the committee is considering today will be completed by the end of the year.
I can also advise members that my resilience officials have been running a series of online community resilience workshops, which have to date been joined by 240 participants.
Clearly, we will continue discussions with all councils to ensure that we are keeping up to date on the mitigation measures and any long-term work that is required.
