The SGF response stated “vaping products are one of the product categories that some customers enter the shop to purchase.”Scottish Grocers’ Federation, written evidence, 13 August 2024 This suggests there is potential for loss of business beyond just the loss of disposable vape sales themselves, as the ban may reduce consumers’ use of small retailers that they visit for the primary purpose of buying vapes.
