I saw that for myself on a recent visit to the Edinburgh BioQuarter. With funding from the Multiple Sclerosis Society, it is using robots to screen thousands of possible drug treatments to help researchers to prioritise those with the best chance of success in clinical trials.
Part of that is about identifying the high-risk cohort that we should be screening and the screening that should be done, because there is some dubiety as to which screening tests should be used in the cohorts that have been identified.
