Private Health Clinic Visits To ask the Scottish Government what its response is to reports that paid-for visits at private health clinics in the first quarter of the year were at the highest level recorded in a single quarter.
The Delegated Powers and Law Reform Committee considered the instrument at its meeting on 26 October and agreed that the negative procedure was appropriate.
As such we intend to correct this as soon as possible.

To conduct a further round of AECS would mean opening for applications early in 2020 but not being in a position to award any new contracts until 2021 and there being potential to create further legacy funding commitments until 2025-26.
From November it will operate nationally, and on Monday we completed the latest phase of the roll-out, opening the payment to new applications in Angus, North Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire.
