However, we have found that it is difficult for people to disengage from existing programmes at a time of financial challenge, and to say that, if they stop doing X, we will be able to spend more money on Y in prevention. Unfortunately, that is not being seen.
In our leisure time, we might use it to download a television programme that we have missed or a film that we would like to see, or perhaps to buy something that is not readily available on the high street.However, for young people, the worldwide web is more than that; it is a virtual place.
Any of us could say that we spend X thousand on Y, B thousand on A and so on. I am more interested in how you think that we should measure whether that money has been successfully spent in future.
Parents, carers, children and young people will also be children’s services, health visiting and nursing services, children’s rights, alongside partners consulted.
