To ask the Scottish Government what its latest engagement has been with the UK Government regarding the funding available to support people with the increased cost of living.

To ask the Scottish Government what its latest engagement has been with the UK Government regarding the funding that is being provided to mitigate the impacts of the cost of living crisis.
The Supplementary DPM states at paragraph 26 that the provision was changed to remove the requirement for electronic documents to be authenticated using advanced or qualified electronic signature so a simple electronic signature can be used.
The Committee welcomes that the following sections of the Bill have been amended in light of its recommendations:
Section 1(4)(a) – Restriction on driving within a zone
Section 29(2) – new section 3L of the 2001 Act – further provision
Section 39 – new section 32A(1) of the 2001 Act – directions about ticketing schemes
Section 61(2) – new section 153I of the 1991 Act – compliance notices: power to make supplementary etc. provision
Stage 2 was completed on 26 June 2019.
The Scottish Government is always looking for new ways to improve and communicate the support on offer, the most recent of which is an engagement guide accessed online through the Supplier Journey toolkit.
They do outreach work with individuals who are housebound and encourage others to visit the studios to participate in discussion, learn new skills and allow spells away from their home isolation.
