I have lodged amendment 153 in partnership with Duncan Dunlop, who gave incredibly forceful and informed evidence to the committee throughout proceedings.Amendment 153 will place new duties on Scottish ministers to lay before the Parliament an annual report on the deaths of looked-after children and those up to the age of 26 who are in receipt of a continuing care service or an aftercare service.
In correspondence with the Presiding Officer, the Scottish Government stated that the United Kingdom Government laid UK-wide regulations increasing the amounts that may be paid as part of universal credit in respect of childcare costs, which came into force on 28 June 2023.

To ask the Scottish Government (a) how many and (b) what percentage of summary criminal cases were dealt with from caution and charge to verdict within the 26 week target in each month since April 2015, broken down by sheriff court.
To ask the Scottish Government how many (a) ambulances, (b) patient-transport vehicles, (c) small vans, (d) cars, (e) 4x4 vehicles and (f) specialist support vehicles has each Scottish Ambulance Service division had in service in each year since 2007.
Children and young people safeguarding and child protection
Visitors under the age of 18 are not required to provide names and addresses and we will not store images of them from our CCTV.
