The 202223 audit of the Scottish Prison Service SG to PAC 20 Aug 2024

Preparatory work is underway to establish the Review, which will be asked to report its findings to Government and Parliament by May 2026 at the latest. Additional investment is being made in community-based interventions, which ensure justice is done and which can be more effective in reducing reoffending and supporting rehabilitation.
