Information has been published monthly on the number of operations cancelled each month since May 2015. Latest published figures for February 2017 indicated that NHSScotland scheduled 27,475 operations in the month of which 586 were cancelled due to capacity or non-clinical reasons this gave a rate of 2.1%.
