The SPCB did not have a dedicated outreach services team prior to September 2004 when a new team was created. The four staff members cover outreach to communities, educational organisations and the Gaelic community.

Transitional funding
Creative Scotland had stated in written evidence that it had “a one-off reserve of £17m in National Lottery funds” which it had allocated “to support organisations who are currently in receipt of year-on-year funding from Creative Scotland, but who are unsuccessful in their application to the new Multi-Year Fund”...
Committee consideration
The DPM states this power is necessary to ensure that the provisions in the Bill operate correctly with respect to the new regulator and there are many amendments made to other pieces of legislation by this Bill which may require updates to relevant cross-references to provide legal certainty.
Amends the Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 1999 to include a new category of Order that can use a simplified procedure for approval.
