In addition, we have not yet got the results of the survey that Transport Scotland undertook in response to my request for it to repeat an offer of a survey in relation to 169 households that were surveyed before the railway reopened.One piece of good news is that we have had a response from the Government, which says that all new railway schemes in Scotland will follow the England and Wales guidelines on noise, despite those guidelines not legally applying to Scotland.

His response is as follows: The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) announced in October 2008 that it planned to replace HMP Inverness with a new prison, HMP Highland. Work was taken forward in conjunction with Highland Council to identify potential sites for this development within or near to Inverness.
