Just Transition Plans for sectors, sites and regions will be a key vehicle for managing our rapid transformation to a net zero, climate resilient economy.
The intended disposal of Springburn public halls was to a private property developer. Because of the 2008 credit crunch, that fell through. The next step was to clear the site in order to dispose of a clean site to a housing association.
They do not recognise the wider opportunity and the coming risk of those businesses or skills not existing in future, or that we will end up either importing or spending huge amounts more money to create those supply chain companies in the future.

We are supporting farmers and crofters to realise the vision for agriculture and the 2025-26 budget allocates more than £665 million for the purpose of supporting farmers, land managers, rural communities and rural businesses .
However, I stress that the Scottish Environment Protection Agency works to ensure the safe management of all licensed landfill sites in order to protect the environment and communities.
Ardardan is a local farm that has a farm shop and visitors cafe attached. I have to confess that I am a frequent visitor, and I recommend it to all members.
