To ask the Scottish Government what support it is providing to care homes that have not yet implemented the visitation guidance and are not allowing window and outdoor visits, as well as indoor visits, for family members of residents.
Visiting guidance in health and social care settings recognises that visits to those nearing the end of life are deemed essential and as such we would expect those working in clinical settings to accommodate such visits where it is safe to do so.
Tim Davison said that, on the day when he visited, there were appointment slots that were not filled and were available for people who needed to see a doctor on that particular day.
