That the Parliament sends its best wishes to Mrs Marjory McLachlan CVO on her retiral from the position of Lord Lieutenant for Stirling and Falkirk; understands that, since her appointment in 2005 as the first female representative of Her Majesty in Stirling and Falkirk, Mrs McLachlan has been a keen supporter of voluntary, military and cultural organisations throughout the area; appreciates this support and the way in which she has carried out her duties for the last 11 years, and notes that her contribution was recognised at a recent function held in her honour, which was hosted by the Provosts of Stirling and Falkirk.
