Information on the turnover of Ferguson Marine can be found in its published annual accounts. The percentage of Ferguson Marine’s turnover from public entities is a commercial matter for the yard to respond.

The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) have not issued any regulatory enforcement action, as defined in Table A of SEPA guidance on the use of enforcement action, against Shell UK Limited FNGL Plant since 1st January 2022.

The Scottish Government is committed to ensuring that all children and young people receive a broad, inclusive, and supportive education that meets their individual needs. Within Curriculum for Excellence, health and wellbeing is a key area of learning and a shared responsibility across the school community.

While the Experiences and Outcomes within Health and Wellbeing and Science currently do not refer explicitly to chronic illnesses, they do provide a framework for exploring the impact of health and wellbeing on learning, resilience, and quality of life. Schools are encouraged to tailor this learning to reflect the needs and experiences of their learners, including increasing awareness and understanding of long-term health conditions where appropriate.

Support for children and young people living with chronic illness is addressed through wider inclusive practices, including the Additional Support for Learning framework and Getting It Right for Every Child (GIRFEC). These policies ensure that individual health needs can be considered through personalised support planning and whole-school approaches to wellbeing.

The Scottish Government does not collect any data on the number of homes granted planning permission outside of any statistics that are published, reflecting an open and transparent approach.

Planning authorities monitor information on past housing completions and future programming of new homes through the Housing Land Audit (HLA) process. The Scottish Government uses this existing, publicly available information for the number of homes granted planning permission.

The Scottish Government does hold a licence for the use of Glenigan’s data platform, which is used as supplementary information alongside authority Housing Land Audits and the Scottish Government PAS (Planning Application Statistics).

To the best of our knowledge the Scottish Government does not hold a licence for the use of the BoCreate data collection system.

The Onshore Wind Sector Deal, signed in September 2023, commits the Scottish Government and the onshore wind industry to working with Police Scotland to agree plans to ensure sufficient resources and the timely transportation of abnormal loads related to onshore wind.

Since then, Scottish Government officials have been working collaboratively with Police Scotland, the onshore wind industry and relevant stakeholders to develop a practical and effective approach to managing abnormal load escorts.

The nursery at Victoria Quay is a commercial entity and operates under a concession contract and is not subsidised by the Scottish Government. Procurement of the nursery contract has taken place routinely since the nursery was first established. The previous contract ran from 2020–2025. During the most recent extension period a full procurement exercise was progressed in line with procurement rules.

The Scottish Government welcomes the Audit Scotland report Tackling digital exclusion, published in August 2024, and recognises the importance of its recommendations in shaping a more inclusive digital future for Scotland.

The Scottish Government continues to work in close partnership with the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) to develop a comprehensive action plan that directly addresses the report’s findings. This collaborative work has focused on ensuring that the plan sets out clear steps, timelines, and responsibilities for delivery.

The action plan will be embedded within the refreshed joint Digital Strategy, which is due to be published later this year. This strategy will provide a coordinated framework for tackling digital exclusion, aligning efforts across sectors and ensuring that digital services are inclusive by design. It will also support the delivery of meaningful, measurable outcomes that reduce digital exclusion and promote equitable access to digital opportunities for all.

The Scottish Government remains committed to working with COSLA and wider stakeholders to ensure that digital inclusion is at the heart of Scotland’s digital transformation.

Scottish Government officials informed the Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS), Prospect and FDA unions on the morning of 12 June 2025 that a provider to operate the VQ nursery had not been secured and outlined the support being made available to the current nursery operator, North Edinburgh Childcare Enterprise Ltd, and parents. A further briefing on the nursery was made available to Trade Unions on the afternoon of 12 June 2025 which was attended by PCS. Subsequently, officials have been in regular communication with PCS representatives, including on the support available to Scottish Government staff.
