Housing

The purpose of the Cross-Party Group on Housing is to provide a forum for MSPs, stakeholders, housing providers, tenants, local authorities, academics, charities and other interested organisations to discuss housing policy and practice in Scotland.

The Group will seek to promote informed debate on how Scotland can:

  • increase the supply, quality, affordability and accessibility of housing
  • support action to reduce homelessness and housing insecurity
  • and consider how housing policy can contribute to stronger communities, improved health and wellbeing, and sustainable economic growth.
