Health Inequalities
This Cross-party group's purpose:
The group aims to raise awareness of the causes of health inequalities amongst parliamentarians to influence legislation and amongst policy makers to promote evidence based actions which reduce health inequalities and to avoid legislation and policies which will make health inequalities in Scotland worse.

21 February 2024, Hybrid Meeting- Online and in the Scottish Parliament
The next meeting of the Cross Party Group on Health Inequalities will take place on the 21 February online or in person in the Scottish Parliament. This meeting will be chaired by co-convenor Brian Whittle MSP.
Confirmed speakers are Rosie Seaman, Data Sourcing Manager and Layla Robinson Partnership and Strategy Manager at Research Data Scotland. RDS work to advance health and social wellbeing in Scotland by simplifying access to public sector data and will explore the opportunities in research and data for health inequalities.
