That the Parliament congratulates Ellon Castle Gardens on being awarded £29,029.50 through the Just Transition Participatory Budgeting Fund; notes that the gardens want to introduce solar-powered robotic mowers as a quiet and clean way to tend its lawns and replace its heavy diesel-powered ride-on mower; understands that volunteers will then have more time to tend to the flowers, heritage apple trees and historic monuments, and believes that the tranquillity will be enjoyed by all visitors; further understands that the installation of solar power will mean the community events hosted in the garden in the evenings will be able to continue despite increasing energy costs; applauds the team at Ellon Castle Gardens on the work that it does, and wishes it well.
